Yes You can! If you can´t come to Paris to study you can apply to the online programme with the same professors and the same intensity of lessons scheduled adapting to your life situation. how to study in the academy?

You can choose Your fitting study programme and apply via sending Your Video consisting of at least one piano piece baroque and one vienna classique and one romanticism. If You are born latest in 2011 You may apply with Your parents agreement, while You can apply without age limit to study in any cycle.

As soon as you have passed the audition you will get the programme adapted to Your needs. If You are too young to live in Paris or for any other reason prefer this option, You may also study from abroad via online lessons. Furthermore you can choose to adapt the periods of residency for studying to your situation.

After successfully passed the final concert in Paris you will receive a certificate for your accomplished cycle from the Conservatoire Rachmaninoff, signed by all the professors of the piano Academy.

Who can apply to the piano academy?

The Academy adresses to international talented pianists and piano teachers from all over the world, who are looking for an extraordinary musical study programme, specifically adapted to ones´ goal, to become the best pianist they have ever been. The application is open for pianists from age 14 to prepare young talents for the best schools in the world, as well as competitions, recordings and concerts. For advanced pianists and piano professors the Academy offers soon a certificate to perfectionnate their curriculum and deepen their artistry.

why is this academy so special?

It all began with the idea of creating a piano academy who was dedicated to the pianist who transformed a whole generation of pianists and redefined piano-playing: Anatol Ugorski.

Honoring his spirit and his daughters´ Dina Ugorskayas and their way of awakening music and bringing the audience to feel and live piano concerts in another level of intensity, perception and meaning; the academy aims to continue this roots.

Who are the professors in the piano academy?

Katinka von Richter and Halida Dinova who will accompany your studying process in one to one lessons to be shared according to Your personal development. All former students of Anatol Ugorski the professors will provide You with this precious heritage of piano playing and musical education. You will be selected for a programme that will be designed from the whole team and tailored precisely for Your needs.

Solfège, music theory, pedagogical training, music history etc. are integrated into every programme adapting the students level.

what are my options to choose from?

A : The 80 days Get ready specifically concentrates on Your preparation goal and includes 10 lessons and one final concert in Paris.

Within 80days you receive a custommized preparation to Your specific goal. Whether getting ready for concert, recording session or trained to become a better teacher.

B : The 1 year life or online cycle consists of 30 lessons enrolled over 1 year.

In one year you get prepared for auditioning to CRR, Ecole normale, or CNSM and more. Plus you experience the short-term abroad studies with all the advantages of the cultural world in the capital Paris. Or of course You are free to stay at home and take lessons online without travelling on Your piano.

C : 2 years certificated cycle is to be launched very soon and will provide you with a professional certificate of an institution in Paris in collaboration with Vivace competition.

Within this 2 years advanced programme You will enrichen Your repertoire, dive deeper into music and get accompanied to build Your unique artistic personality mentored by three international concert pianists.

Attention: for all three options of study programmes the lessons will be shared between the 2 professors, according to Your level, while partly held online.

We are accepting students from age 14 on and there is no age limit. Also piano teachers who wish to achieve a higher level of professorship are welcome.
